The Gospel of John, An Incredible Film

A couple of months ago, my neighbor loaned me the 2003 film, The Gospel of John, directed by Philip Saville and starring Henry Ian Cusick as Jesus. It was narrated by Christopher Plummer. This is a powerful film, and in my opinion, far surpasses Mel Gibson's film, The Passion of the Christ. I watched Mr. Saville's film three times, and I will never grow tired of it. The acting is superb, the music is outstanding, the photography is magnificent, and the directing is the best! It is word for word from the Bible, using a modern English translation. This film is available on amazon.com and Christian book stores as well. I have also seen it in some video stores. Get this film and watch it and tell everyone you know about it.

antonkasa: I watch 2 times this film and I think is the best movie in the History of Film, even better than Citizen Cane, which I did consider the top nr 1 film until I watch Gospel of John movie. It looks like Jesus is playing this film, and the words are more powerful than when you read in the Bible.
The fact is that people who were in the movie scene are the present people; the authority, the poor, the misery, the hipocrisy of the world.
What is missing in the real world scene is Jesus, the Spirit, which Jesus said is coming after me to speak for me, and teach, save you.
The question is; can the evil world be changed, be saved, be lead to the right way?
Answer is NO.Humans will hate God.
So why than did Jesus said that the Spirit, the New Coming will do
what Jesus cud not do; to save all of them or be loved by all of them?! (human demons)
